I graduated with a Psychology Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Western Ontario with years of experience working in the beauty industry and also corporate. I have obtained my advanced certificate in makeup artistry in 2023 and have also completed the Inside LVMH certification. My journey has taken me through multiple major makeup brands, retail stores like Sephora and Holt Renfrew, and countless hours of research on products, formulations, and techniques. Makeup is my passion, and I know every brand and product like the back of my hand—it’s my personal beauty dictionary.

Through my experiences in beauty and corporate, I saw a huge gap in the beauty industry. Women, especially busy professionals, would walk into retail stores overwhelmed and unsure of what products they actually needed. They either didn’t have time to do the research, were influenced by trendy products that weren’t suited for their skin type, or were being sold items by sales associates whose main priority was making a sale—not meeting the customer’s unique needs.

I always prioritized my clients' needs over sales quotas or corporate restrictions. I believe makeup consultations should be thorough and personalized, not rushed or sales-driven. That's why I created BeautifyHQ— I realized I needed to create a space where beauty recommendations are personalized, unbiased, and tailored to each individual.
